A show unmatched in traditional media
Zarpodcast is a fantastic look into South Africa, her politics and the economic landscape.
Stephen invites a wide array of guests from economists to politicians and thought leaders. In which they discuss their views and their thoughts on South Africa. The format of the show is unmatched in traditional media and the value for the listener is unparalleled.
If your interested in South Africa and her future this show cannot be missed.
Insightful and interesting viewpoints on the state of SA
This is a very relevant podcast on a topic that's top of mind for many of us living in SA who want to see the country succeed but are feeling helpless due to the current state of affairs.
Listening can be a frustrating experience simply because one feels that the seemingly common sense ideas proposed by the guests will never be considered by the current government. I'd like to know why.
Therefore I would love to hear from some members of the current establishment / administration about why we find ourselves in this position, and to act as a counterbalance to the views of the guests. The interview with Andile was fascinating (and scary), as it bring through a perspective which isn't normally given much of a voice on the usual talk radio.
Well done Stephen, this is a great idea, which is well executed, and I look forward to many more podcasts.
Zar is the most important podcast for anyone with a passing (or vested) interest in South African policy and economics.
The interviewer allows the guests ample time to draw out thoughts and ideas. It's refreshing to hear a proper debate, without the interviewer interrupting for the sake of it.
I highly recommend this podcast, it's the best South African political podcast by far.
